Hook Stake
VPN: 8SSSTAKE

This stake is 316 stainless steel because it could be exposed to salt. Using only 316 stainless steel will ensure continued ease of use and durability. It is made in a hook-shaped design with one hook on top to lap over WeedEnder®. A sharp point is provided to penetrate the WeedEnder®. There is also a hook on the other end that is driven into the ground. This hook restricts the stake from pulling out. The holding power actually increases as the root system surrounds the stake and hook. A pilot hole may be made using a screwdriver or similar tool for use in rocky soil. Install every 18 inches. Under no circumstances should you cut off the hook.

Sand Stake

VPN 8SASTAKE
This stake is constructed of 316 stainless steel and designed for use in sandy or very loose soil conditions. Anchor on bottom expands as force is applied to remove stake, thereby causing resistance to upward pressure. Additional anchors can be added in extremely sandy soil.

Asphalt Spike

VPN: 8ASPIKE-W
This spike is designed to be used when WeedEnder® is applied directly to asphalt. Usually it is later covered with crack sealant. Constructed of 316 stainless steel; washer included. Install every 15 inches maximum.

Rock Spike

VPN: 8AROCK-W
This spike is only used in rocky conditions—gravel, clay, or extremely hard soil—on a limited basis. Sometimes used in end treatments. Always use WeedEnder® hook stake when possible for extra holding power. Sometimes used alternately with the WeedEnder hook stake. Constructed of 316 stainless steel; washer included. Install every 15 inches maximum.
