Thirteen years ago we had our first department of transportation use of the WeedEnder® Vegetation Control System under guardrails to help in their fight against unwanted vegetation. The DOTs, noticing how well the material worked in the telco industry around pedestals, wanted to test it on long runs of highways for beautification, labor savings, increased visibility, and safety for drivers. Today, DOTs across the country are still using this environmentally safe material to keep their roads, waterways, and drivers safe while keeping their guardrails, cable barriers (aka: guard cable or cable rail), and signs clear of weeds. |
